I like the idea of integrating duck image into the logo but I like simple. The word "farm" does not have to be included. It is located in Manning, South Carolina but I don't think I want it as part of logo. The images attached are duck images I like from other's logos. The Habitat Solutions logo is my favorite.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
