Xufe got their new web page design by running a design contest:
$200 - Betting web 2.0 site redesign (no logo, no coding)
Check out Xufe's Web page design contest…
Need graphics for redesign while keeping the logo and positions of all boxes.
What's your vision?
Tagline: “where people discover overpriced odds” (place it somewhere in the header) Desired Color Scheme: Shades of green, as the logo. Use grey and orange as second and third colors if you don't have any better ideas. Desired Style: 100% web 2.0 style! Read this blog entry for a breakdown of web 2.0 characteristics: http://www.vasdekis.com/web-20/is-this-a-web-20-design-26-characteristics-to-look-for.html Accepted File Formats: .PSD with layers Xufe.com is a betting odds comparison service and community website. It's in private beta, so we'll need to give you a password to see the actual website. Send me a message if interested. Here is a screenshot so you can get an idea: http://www.xufe.com/img/preview.jpg We wish to keep the logo, and the positions and functionality of all elements (horizontal menu, next bet box, 3 columns below) as they are. What we need is new graphics for the whole website. Important notes: 1/ The next bet box should become shorter. A thought is to put "next bet" in a vertical position at the left of the box. 2/ We need to highlight the "<--comparison-->" box, as it is the most important feature of the website. It compares what people think and what bookmakers think in order to discover value bets. 3/ A nice graphic for "<--comparison-->" is a must. A thought is to expand this graphic into the left and right columns if necessary. 4/ The "bookmakers odds" grid and the "people comments" areas need some serious redesign. 5/ Include a background in your designs and a sample footer. 6/ Add 5-6 flags at the top right corner as this site will be translated in foreign languages.
