I want to design a sticker/patch

The concept of the design is an ONI MASK....

What are the Oni?

Oni are a kind of yōkai, supernatural demon, devils, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. They are typically portrayed as hulking figures with one or more horns growing out of their heads. Stereotypically, they are conceived of as red, blue or green-colored, wearing loincloths of tiger pelt, and carrying iron kanabō clubs. It is said that the Oni circle around dead bodies in order to take the souls of the body off to hell quickly.

In this project I will only ask you to focus on creating a UNIQUE Oni Mask I will provide images in the brief to give you a visual guidance to some examples of what other artists have created over time....

The images used are not to be copied.....They are only a reference, this project is for a completely original Oni Design concept.

Parameters for the design are as follows:

The use of gradients should be avoided because they are lost in production.

Lines of color should be clear and use of fades should be very limited again due to loss of detail in production.

Extreme details, especially small details also tend to get lost in production....An example would be if you were drawing a man in a button up jacket and included the buttons they would not look good or may not even come out in the end product because they were to small to be caught by the machine.

Its a delicate balance when it comes to detail......Obviously an extremely detailed image would be great....but on the opposite end an image with little or no detail just lacks appeal....so a balance between too much and to little must be found....Keeping in mind what I previously said.

Oni Mask have basic colors but im open to creativity....

I would like one design that could be reproduced with various different colors if I wanted to down the road....

One concept I thought that might be interesting is that the design include some glow in the dark features....so maybe in the dark you would be able to see a good outline of the design.....just ideas I am toying with.....

The size of the sticker/patch will be a max of 4.50" tall x 3.50" wide....
