Door Duck got their new other business or advertising by running a design contest:
Trade Show Booth Design that will Blow Open the Door
Check out Door Duck's Other business or advertising contest…
Oregon Door strives to be the most environmentally responsible and sustainable commercial wood and FRP door manufacturer in the United States. Our doors are in openings across the world. Traditionally, we sell to distributor-partners who facilitate install & hardware. In addition, architects will specify our company for building projects. Basically three target markets will be serviced by this trade show booth: *distributors of doors, frames and hardware *architects and specifiers *sustainability/environmental professionals
What's your vision?
Trade show booth backdrops: *10’x92” Curved Backwall - Single Sided - Concave Short Side *6’x52” Curved Table Top - Single Sided - Concave Short Side Designs for both should be similar or at least complementary as they may on occasion be used together. Most often one or the other will be utilized depending on the available space at the specific trade show. We want to convey the following messages primarily through imagery: *Environmental Responsibility: we are the market leader in providing doors that meet the most stringent requirements for green building rating systems. *Quality: we produce doors that are both beautiful and functional and meet or exceed all industry standards *Service/Flexibility: we provide strong customer service and are always willing to find a solution *Reliability: we can be counted on to deliver what we say we will when we say we will *Oregon: Oregon is green with lots of mountains, hills, and trees. Our company is part of the state and the environment. Design should be simple, timeless, and sustainability focused. The less crowded the better — just a few main bullet points of text. Also, include a few of the provided door photos. Possible ideas include a vision of our logo and green tree outline across the bottom then transitioning into a light light blue background, with a three(ish) photos placed throughout, and 3-4 key words or phrases. But, please do not be limited by this description. We are excited to see what you come up with and are open to new and creative ideas. Possible words or phrases to use include the following: Quality, Sustainable, Environmentally Responsible, Reliable, Flexible, Green, Quality Flush Wood and FRP Doors, Flexible and Responsive Service, Reliable and Trustworthy Delivery, You Can Count on Us! (Note: please limit to just 3-4 main bullet points). Company logo and imagery should be major part of the design. Do NOT use our current website for idea inspiration. Site is being completely redesigned. Screen shot photo of beta site is included in attached documents. Serif fonts should be avoided. We hate Times New Roman. Old-fashioned or boring designs not welcome. If using stock photos, Shutterstock is preferred. Stock photos must be available at the highest resolution possible. Very open to use of stock photos of Oregon (mountains, trees rivers) as background. The Umpqua River is in our backyard.
Please stick to exact grid, pantone PMS colors, and client art set-up as instructed by the Skyline Guideline documents. Must be least 100 dpi.
