UI Design for Space Physics Puzzle mobile game

Games & Recreational
Comet Gravity is a physics puzzle mobile game where you launch a comet from an area and it has to hit a certain goal while being affected by the gravity of surrounding stars and planets.
It's a UI facelift of an existing game. It hasn't been released yet, it's in Beta, fully functional and graphically defined, we just need a great UI design to replace our placeholder/dummy graphics. The game is space-themed, reality-oriented (and not cartoonish), and the background of all screens is a black space with nebulas, planets and stars (randomly generated on the software). We like a more minimalist/clean approach for the UI. Attached to the briefing please check the Video of the gameplay, and the PPT.
The PPT explains better, but: 1) the Main Menu screen starts from the HOME, where the user has 3 options of flow: PLAY, DOWNLOAD, or CREATE SCENARIO. On the PLAY flow there is a list of categories (pack of scenarios), which include categories such as "Easy 1", "Easy 2", "Hard 1"... Upon clicking a category, a list of levels comes, and when the level is clicked a match starts. On the HOME, clicking on the DOWNLOAD flow, a list of scenarios is downloaded from the server and appears so the user has to select to play. On the CREATE SCENARIO flow a list of scenarios created by the player appears which are playable, or the user can click on another button to create a new scenario (which goes to the match screen). 2) The 2nd screen is the Match, where the player launches the comet and has to hit a goal. 3) When the match ends, the 3rd screen (Match End) appears with some stats about the match. 4) The 4th screen is just an extra dummy screen to raise the contest prize and balance the Main Menu screen which is complex and was considered only a single screen due to its animated/continuous flow.
What to avoid
Some guidelines: Use the 2 provided screenshots as a base for your UI design, since most of the game elements (comet, sky, planets, etc) won't be changed. Also, read the PPT and watch the gameplay video to understand better.
