MeetLinkShare is a mobile application that enables users working within teams to easily: - Capture information when and how it occurs. Right now we support text entry notes, handwritten annotations, and audio recordings with time markers. (Meet) - Associate that information to a meeting, event or project. Notes captured can currently be grouped into teams, although we are going to introduce categories as well so you can group your content into folders. (Link) - Distribute the information and get team feedback in a single secure location. Content once assigned to a team will be shared in real time with team members. Team members receive notifications and can collaborate and provide feedback by commenting. (Share)
We do like blues in the color scheme as you can see from the current application. The current UI though is very clunky. We like the simplicity of something like Evernote, its not overly flashy but sharp, clean and easy to use. You can also download our application that is currently in the app store (without the voice notes) as a reference to what we currently have. We are aiming for a product that provides the information capture capabilities of evernote, with the ability to associate those notes or pieces of content with files or attachments like dropbox and share content using teams using a concept similar to google circles.
The screens we would initially like to look at for a re-design are - the landing page for notes where users can browse through their notes based on filters specified along the top. Notes are displayed as cards with some basic descriptive information. Would like to add the ability for adding a 1 or more color coded ribbons or stripes based on the note being assigned to a particular category. Categories are a way to group your notes or content. - When you select a note card you are taken to the notes view which currently has several tabs, the point of entry being the Notes tab. The notes tab allows you to take notes via typed text in text boxes as well as handwritten annotations. - Attachments can be added or linked to a note. Currently we only have audio recordings with bookmarks. Once you start a recording you can add bookmarks within the recording to mark important points in time so you can return quickly to that point later. You can also add bookmarks during playback. Each note can have 1 or more attachments. - The properties tab allows you to see where the note was taken, the teams they are shared with, would like to include the ability here to link or assign to categories as well. - The sharing view displays the teams or distribution groups a user has. The landing page for a team or distribution group is shown. Currently the team landing view is pretty basic showing only the team members, their status (invited / member) and the list of notes. Would like this to display a bit more interactivity, including notifications on new events, any new comments, etc.
