Groundbreaking New Clinical Trial - Logo and Branding

We are launching a new clinical trial for patients with a rare genetic disease (Tuberous Sclerosis Complex) in which individuals experience epilepsy during infancy that is very difficult to treat. Our clinical trial is testing treatment with a medication, sirolimus, before seizures ever start, in hopes of preventing epilepsy from ever occuring. This study is part of a larger portfolio of related studies, all in TSC patients, designed around preventing major clinical aspects or complications of the disease (Stopping TSC Onset and Progression), which historically have been referred to as STOP-1, STOP-2, STOP-3, etc. The official title of this study accordingly is "Stopping TSC Onset and Progression 2B: Sirolimus TSC Epilepsy Prevention Study (TSC-STEPS)", but in our rebranding we are going to refer to this study only by its shortened name, "TSC-STEPS", rather than "STOP2B" we had been using previously. The TSC-STEPS logo will be used for public presentations, recruitment materials, and study website.

I think the key concepts from a creative standpoint is (1) Infants; (2) Steps; (3) TSC. Epilepsy may or may not be worth considering, but only if adds rather than distracts/clutters the overall design. Also, the feeling I am looking to convey is a sense of positivity/hope/healthy, as that is the goal the trial is trying to achieve--many of these families fear the worst of uncontrollable, lifelong epilepsy and lifelong intellectual disability and autism and our trial is designed to test a treatment that we think can lessen or eliminate these things that are part of TSC.
