G Bailey Photography
We are photographers, passionate about capturing eye-catching, stunning images of uk wildlife in its natural habitat to sell to private individuals and organisations. Our goal is to bring beautiful uk wildlife and nature images into everyone's home.
Our instinct is to have the colour green somewhere in the logo to link with the nature theme, but would consider a design without it if it encapsulated what we do and who we are.
We have a passion for UK wildlife photography including birds (birds of prey (particularly Kestrels), eagles, puffins, gannets as well as all uk garden birds) and mammals (otters, squirrels (red and grey), seals and deers). The logo needs to reflect this.
We have seen a lot of round logos with peaked mountains in but would like something more unique for our design, moving away from circles.
We want the logo to identify us as wildlife photographers (we don't do weddings or portraits), and to make our website look a fun place to browse, not boring or stuffy.
The logo needs to be stylish not staid. We are drawn more to those logos that are laid out in a line, rather than in a circle and that include an animal (squirrel, otter or deer) or a bird or reflect nature (tree or leaf?). A combination of these might work too as long as the overall design is not too 'busy'.
The company name can be handwritten and/or italic or a combination of both styles and it would be good to incorporate the colour green to reflect 'nature'. We have been drawn to styles where the 'G Bailey' has been handwritten and italic in a more curvy/fancy font with 'Photography' not in italics, but we don't like anything too flamboyant.
We have also added a file with some examples of logo's we like, and uploaded 2 photo's of a red squirrel looking up a camera lens and wondered if this could be made into a logo? We took the photos so there is no issue with copyright.
