christine.alh got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Modern retro arcade logo
Check out christine.alh's Logo design contest…
We at ALH Group run hospitality venues within Australia. We're launching a space within our venues with arcade games called ‘Arcadia’ targeted towards adults. Most of our venues are located in the suburbs. So, Arcadia needs to give the feel of being welcoming and family friendly but still being targeted towards adults, we want to attract regular pub goers. However, children are still welcome to Arcadia.
Other color requirements
Max 2 colours
The logo will need to be applied across multiple venues that will hold an Arcadia area. So, it needs to be generic enough to sit within any venue regardless of its interior or branding. The logo needs to be simple but with a strong use of typography to make the word ‘Arcadia’ stand out. ‘Arcadia’ to be the main focus word ‘at Sandbelt’ to be secondary (this changes with venue/hotel name). The secondary word to be in a different font style to Arcadia but it still needs to work well together as one logo. The introduction of a small icon can be considered but it still needs to be simple and not too busy. Icons could include; a gaming joystick, tetris style blocks etc. Logo to be in a modern font style but with the feel of an arcade, so a bit more fun with a bright colour choice. Open to seeing something in a clean cursive font with a neon effect or neon colour with secondary font being in san serif. Would also be happy to see a version with a clean san serif font as the main focus word. Please try and steer away from the logo having a bar or nightclub feel. Introduce an icon or quirky element to the font style to avoid the bar feel if need be. Colours to be bright, colourful and fun. With a max of 2 colours. Bright green, blue, purple or orange can be considered but it cannot look too busy. The second colour can be a black, grey or white. A ‘Modern-retro’ look and feel. Images of inspiration attached.

Bam O was very quick to respond and was professional in the process. They met the brief in the first go with little changes. We love the design and look forward to applying it to our venues
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
