About us

Die VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring (bisheriger Name) ist die größte Breitensportrennserie der Welt. Neunmal im Jahr starten im Schnitt 170 Rennfahrzeuge – von seriennahen Renntourenwagen bis zum ausgewachsenen GT3-Boliden – auf der schönsten und anspruchsvollsten Rennstrecke der Welt, der Nürburgring Nordschleife. Für unsere Rennserie, die ausschließlich am Nürburgring stattfindet, benötigen wir ein neues Logo, in dem sich auch die starke Marke des Nürburgrings und insbesondere die Nordschleifensilhouette wiederfindet.

das aktuelle Logo unserer Serie finden Sie hier: https://www.vln.de/de/startseite/ Das Logo bzw. die Marke "VLN" hat aus meiner Sicht keinen Wiedererkennungswert. Den Nürburgring hingegen kennt jeder. Hinweis: Als Schwesterunternehmen der Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co KG ist es uns erlaubt die geschützten Marken des Nürburgrings für unser Logo zu verwenden (siehe Anhang). Natürlich sollte es sich vom Logo der Dachmarke unterscheiden.

Zen inspired logo

this was fun and interesting project. after unsuccessful contest client reached me for help in developing a logo for coaching business for climbers specialising in mental training. I have developed a concept based on calming lotus flower with embeded figure 8 knot, one of the most used and most secured climbing knots. Done in lineart style with hand drawn feel to it and paired with nice typography this iconic design was right on the point and client was as happy as I am.
