Games & Recreational
ZipBuck is a game that uses the serial numbers on dollar bills. It’s a virtual scavenger hunt that rewards you with cash, prizes and discounts at local businesses. For local merchants, it's a way to attract new customers by turning ordinary dollar bills into "circulating coupons" Our target audience will likely be 25 to 40 year-olds, with the "game" aspect appealing more to males and the "coupon" aspect appealing more to females (therefore equally male & female overall). I also intend to appeal to environmentally-conscious (though not overtly) because the site will encourage people to shop and explore locally (saving fuel) and using dollars instead of printing coupons (saving trees, paper)
Logo types to explore
12/18 UPDATE: I apologize for misunderstanding- the actual word "logo" was not intended to be part of the logo itself. I like the idea of incorporating a zipper into the logo to play on the word "zip", but not married to it. The "Zip" actually refers to ZIP codes, as in spending your Bucks in your home ZIP. Also want to use a font where the "Z" will lend itself to a dollar-sign type icon, keeping this in mind: Eventually, I want to create an animated icon where a rotating dollar sign becomes a "Z" when it's backward with the same vertical lines running through it. Also, I'd like that "Z dollar-sign" to eventually become a recognizable icon and usable as a favicon.
