About us

Fly-fishing the Texas coast for redfish is extremely popular. But don’t discount the inland fly-fishing opportunities. While our friends in the mountains or on one of the coasts are pursuing trout, we are fishing for a vastly underrated species. Texas is full of largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, and Guadalupe bass. These fish are so much fun on a fly rod that fishing legends include bass in their top choices for river-based game fish. The Llano river is the best inland fly-fishing in Texas, and the stretch of water flowing adjacent to the Hock Ranch is spectacular.
