Warwick Hamilton Builders is a building company based in a seaside town in New Zealand. The principal been operating for over 20 years. Recently the company has started to become a builder of choice for builds of $700 - $1.3m in value. Most of these are high end holiday homes, as the location is a popular holiday spot for successful business people from nearby main cities. The companies approach to building is typical of builders operating at this level • Precise, detailed and quality focussed. • They are honest, direct, yet fair • Most importantly they are relationship centric. They understand that every build is personal to the client and so take a personable and likeable approach. The market is saturated with independent builders. Business is discovered often by word-of-mouth or from seeing signage. Business is won by reputation and relationships. The audience is primarily clients based in the main cities, building a high-end holiday home in the Coromandel. Typically high income/ high socio-economic. They are brand and quality focused. The secondary audience are architects etc, looking for builders that appear to fit the requirements for professional, quality builds.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
My clients are looking for a new logo to better represent the type of clients they are now supplying to, but also to better represent the laid-back, straight-talking, personable nature of the principal and his crew.

ImagingThoughts created several designs that were all superb, which made deciding on one the hardest part. They were incredibly receptive to and responsive to all of the feedback that we provided. In the end, we could not be happier with the final design and look forward to working with them in the future.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
