Applied Concepts in Data Acquisition
We are software and hardware design consultants to the engineering industry. We code software and design hardware. Our main software tool is National Instruments LabVIEW. Our clients will include Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Aerospace etc. We design systems that go into things like ships, industrial machines, drilling rigs etc. Imagine the logo on the side of a machine, on a control panel etc
Logo types to explore
We are not looking for anything complicated with too many colours, swirly shapes, gradient shading etc. Definitely not the web 2.0 style etc. However, some incorporation of fluidity is acceptable. It is important to note that we are not IT consultants but engineers and we need a logo that represents this. The logo can include elements of electronics, robotics, mechanics if required. I do not want stylised tools. We do not develop apps, websites, install or fix computers etc. Therefore, all designs that include things like stylised mobile phones, computer screens, mice or keyboards, internet clouds etc shall not be accepted. If using a pictorial mark, the picture should not dominate the logo.It should also not look "cute" (no bunny rabbits, smiley faces etc). It needs to be assertive, something that looks good in the engineering industry. An example is the Caterpillar Logo, or the MAC trucks logo. Another example is the Microsoft Logo. Someone viewing the logo should get a rough idea of what the company does. Another good example is http://www.positioneering.com. The logo representing the globe is well suited to what the company does i.e. GPS systems. The DAQ in acodaq represents the "Data Acquisition" in the slogan "Applied Concepts in Data Acquisition", which is actually the registered company name. Therefore, it should be treated as a whole and the letters not separated/ modified independently. Any modifications should be applied to these three letters in common. It needs to look as good printed in grayscale as it does on colour.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
