We want to show our camp families, donors, and prospective donors the direction our organization is going. We want to show where we are hoping to be in 2030 with a contrast to where we are in 2020 in hopes that people will want to give and be a part of our growth.

Camp Cho-Yeh in 2030 Camp-Wide ● Cho-Yeh now has 100 full-time employees - known for providing great benefits, competitive salaries, flexible work environment, and 10 consecutive years ranked as a flourishing culture by the BCWI. (Current: 51 FT) ● Annual revenue and cash outflow are sustainable within Cho-Yeh and the increased margin has fueled our mission. ● Including the expansion and development of the Lighthouse Point property, Cho-Yeh now has 2 satellite camps which further Cho-Yeh’s mission and operate with financial self-sufficiency. (Current: No Satellite Camps) ● We have 1,800 active annual donors who generously provide more than $1,000,000 per year in scholarship and capital giving. (Current: 400 donors, averaging $450K) ● The scholarship endowment has grown to $5,000,000, providing $250,000 per year in scholarship funds. (Current: $200k) ● Cho-Yeh has a high functioning board of directors with 12 engaged men and women who are ethnically, geographically and professionally diverse. (SECONDARY point) ● Even in the midst of growth, the organization stays true to our mission, vision & core values. ● Cho-Yeh has maintained a stellar safety record for campers, guests and employees. ● Cho-Yeh has an active and vibrant alumni network who is committed to partnering with Cho-Yeh in prayer and finances. Summer Camp: ● Serving 10,000 campers within 4 distinct camps (currently 4,000 campers at 1 camp) ● At least 70% of eligible summer campers return every year and the average years of enrollment is 4.5 summers. (Current: 64%, 3.2 years) ● 15 % of our campers come on scholarship = $800,000 awarded each year (Current: 17%, $320k) ● Age-progressive curriculum grows with your camper ● 40% of our campers are enrolled in our two-week program which is known for its excellent skill development track. (Current: 12%) ● Cho-Yeh has a growing Family Camp on Lake Livingston that serves in excess of 400 families each summer. (Current: No Family Camp) ● With a robust evaluation & feedback system, Cho-Yeh tracks growth and missional success. ● Cho-Yeh’s summer staff is made up of exceptional college-aged men and women who love the Lord and love kids. They are the heart of what we do because summer camp is not possible without them! Retreats: ● Camp Cho-Yeh’s Retreat ministry has the reputation for partnering with schools and churches all throughout the greater Houston area. ● Our guest retreat ministry hosts 100,000 guests per year (Current: 38k) ○ Facilities are well designed to host up to 12 different groups per weekend (Current: 6 groups) ○ Housing, meeting, dining and recreation space to accommodate 1,500 guests: Current (Varied... but really 450) ● Cho-Yeh’s retreat ministry is known for excellence in its facilities, recreation offerings, dining experience, customer service & convenient location. Compass: ● Cho-Yeh’s Compass program partners with several higher education institutions and serves 30 gap year students per year with a healthy waitlist each year. (current: 7-15)
