RingLead provides duplicate prevention and removal applications for the Salesforce platform. (www.salesforce.com) Salesforce is the world's largest cloud computing company. It provides a platform for Salespeople, Marketers and increasingly the entire enterprise that enable companies to market to and keep information about their customers and prospects. Salesforce is an open platform, there is a thriving community of app developers that provide apps that extend the native feature set of the platform. This is salesforce.com' marketplace: www.appexchange.com. RingLead is one of the original Salesforce partners. Data quality is s big issue for salespeople and marketers. Duplicate data (I'm sure you've been called twice by a salesperson from the same company, or received two emails) is a persistant and troublesome challenge, and Salesforce itself has virtually no native feature for dealing with them. RingLead provides those solutions.
What's your vision?
There are many apps in Salesforce that are priced by record count. So, if you have 500,000 records in your database, you might pay $9,000/month for a marketing automation solution ( marketo.com for instance) Most databases have at least 20% duplicates. A company that used RingLead's applications to remove their duplicates (let's say 20% of 500k is 100k, they would have 400k records after deduping) could then purchase a marketing automation app for let's say $7,000, saving $2,000/month. In addition to cost savings there are considerable performance benefits. Marketers use these marketing automation platforms to build high performance marketing campaigns that produce high quality Leads that they feed to Sales resulting in revenue generating machines. Data is the fuel that drives these machines and dirty data, duplicares specifically cause the machine to run poorly. The technology enable the measurement of every nuance of the performance of the campaigns. A very current phrase used all the time by marketers is "Measuring the metrics that matter" Metrics is their mantra. Well duplicates cause all of their marketing metrics to be miscalculated. Under-reported as a matter of fact, so the results are actually better than their numbers say. Duplicates make it difficult to segment offers, a company may run a promotion offering an iPad to new customers, but because there are duplicates, clients also get the offer and demand their new iPad. Ooops. Getting two or three emails from a company that is supposed to be run by professionals marketers, is well, embarrassing. And then here are the problems it causes for sales. Two salespeople fight over who owns a lead, and the prospect gets bothered by so many calls. Across the organization, knowledge workers waste a torturous amount of time looking for the information they need because of duplicates. Ok, so we are looking for an info-graphic that highlights the cost savings that companies who buy marketing automation will realize by using RingLead to dedupe their database. Before/after. Secondarily we'd like it to represent the improved marketing performance that clean data will bring. Maybe using a POS car that transforms into a high performance machine (Bumblebee, transformed from an old Camaro to a new one.) If you can find a way to use the examples attached that looks good, or just one example, cool. Using them not a requirement. The info-graphic should be titled :Marketing Automation's Secret Metric-the one they don't want you to measure. Subtext: Save money, and make it work better, too. "Marketing automation vendors love talking about metrics. Open rates, conversion rates, rate of return. But there is one super-important rate they don't want to talk about. The duplicate rate in your database. Why? Because these companies charge by the record for use of their application, the fewer records you have, the less money they make" "Unlike other tools that demand that you have a Ph.D in duplicates to make them work, RingLead's applications are powerful and easy to use." "Put an end to your CRM conFusion." If you could fit this text in, that would be great. We like to think that we are cool, happy people, so if you could keep that in mind while designing our info-graphic, we'd be psyched.
