What's your vision?
Hello designers. We’d like for you to design a 6.125” x 9.25” hardcover for us. Here’s the information on the book: Title: Leadership Step by Step Subtitle: Becoming the Person Others Follow Author: Joshua Spodek ----Design Information---- Audience: Any businessperson who wants to be a better manager or leader. Over all “look and feel”: We’d like something handsome and contemporary. Should feel practical, but also a bit “executive” and have some dignity. We’d like a big title — especially the word Leadership. The words “Step by Step” can be less important. Possible imagery: We’d like this to be a MOSTLY text design, but we are open to some kind of small image that implies leading, leadership, business, following, a process, etc. Obviously, you’ll think of using shoe prints, which we’re open to, but: - they can’t look silly or cartoon-ish - they can’t be bare feet footprints or in the sand - they shouldn’t be red and look like they’re bloody from a horror movie! We do not want a stock photo of a businessman in a suit (we never do). Published books with similar feel: I have attached a collection of books that I think have the right feel, called HighEnergy-ButExecutive Some information about the book is attached. NOTE: Please show me your designs as a face-front, flat image. You’re welcome to also include an angled “3D” version if you want, but we want to be able to compare all the designs in a FLAT format. We prefer jpgs that are about 1200 pixels tall. We do not want to see a spine or a back cover. Please do not submit many variations on a certain design — just pick the one you think is strongest. Thanks, Cathleen Ouderkirk
