Fun and Engaging Activities for Your Child to Learn to Read and Write 101 Must-Know High Frequency Words in Kindergarten By Early Learning Press Make reading and writing fun for your child — and say goodbye to frustrating exercises and boring assignments! Did you know that research has shown that early literacy skills are one of the best predictors for future academic success? Reading not only allows your child to engage with the world in new ways, but it also encourages the development of critical thinking that will benefit them throughout life. In fact, one study from Edinburgh University demonstrated that having strong reading skills as a child is linked to having better paying jobs and a higher income as an adult. So, how do you give your child the best possible start? The key lies in making learning an enjoyable experience, not something that your child comes to dread. At this age, children learn through play, best absorbing information when it's presented to them in a relaxed and entertaining way. So rather than relying on rote memorization, which requires children to repeatedly write and say words out loud, you can now turn language practice into fun — with even better results. It’s literally a win-win! In The Ultimate Sight Words Workbook for Kindergarteners, you will discover: A comprehensive look at the 101 most critical sight words that account for up to 75% of words used in beginner reading materials Word practice that uses a variety of methods, including coloring, tracing, cutting and pasting Clear instructions on 10 unique ways to effectively teach each word to your child How to use Play-Doh to encourage vocabulary-building while having fun at the same time Activities that encourage the development of fine motor skills while still being entertaining and engaging for your child Age-appropriate activities for children 4 and up that can be completed independently, helping them to build confidence in their abilities as they become familiar with new words And much more. Most sight word workbooks rely on dull, repetitive practices that your child will quickly lose interest in. Unfortunately, this is bound to discourage them and keep them from learning to read and write the words that will form their academic foundation. Thankfully, this is a risk you no longer have to worry about. With The Ultimate Sight Words Workbook for Kindergarteners, you can help your child discover the fun side of learning and develop an affection for reading and writing that will last a lifetime.

A great creative talent. Created a very unique and high-level design with a subject that could have been interpreted in a very "vanilla" way, and it was exactly what we were looking for.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
