ammon Y got their new banner ad by running a design contest:
Facebook ad image for computer programmers

We are a technical recruiting company in San Francisco, California. We help technology companies hire computer programmers. Computer programmers apply to us. We do full technical interviews with them, and then match the best with companies. We work with several hundred companies, from small 3-person startups to many of the top tech companies in the area (Stripe, Airbnb, Uber, Khan Academy). We attract good programmers by running better interviews that do not require programming on a whiteboard, and by not looking at resumes. We specifically focus on helping people how are great programmers but come form a non-traditional background break int silicon valley.
What's your vision?
I want images to use in Facebook ads for Triplebyte. The goal of the ads is to get programmers to apply to Triplebyte (to let up help them find a job at a top technical company). The images should be 1200 x 628 pixels. I have two basic idea for the ad copy 1) Advertise the fact that our interview does not use a whiteboard and does not look at resumes. Many programmers dislike these things, so this may be effective. Ideas for ad copy to go with this idea include: No resumes, just show us you can code We help engineers join great companies by evaluating their tech skills, not credentials. Whiteboard interviews are broken. There has to be a better way. Apply to triplebyte, and get a job without solving brain teasers. Ideas for images her involve showing an overly complex whiteboard with code on it. Something like the following image (I do not have the rights for this image, but it's am example of code on a whiteboard) http://a.tgcdn.net/images/products/additional/large/e137_peel_and_stick_white_boards_code.jpg Annything showing a frustrated computer programmer in an interview might work 2) Advertise the fact that Triplebyte helps candidates find companies they are interested in and are a good match for. Companies differ widely in what skills they look for. Triplebyte matches engineers with companies that look for the skills that each engineer has. Ideas for ad copy to go with this idea include: Interviews are capricious. Find a startup where you're a good fit? Interested in joining an early stage startup? Not sure where to start? Apply to Triplebyte and get matched with exciting early companies Note: If you include programmers in your images, be sure that they are dressed informally. Computer programmers in San Francico are more likely to be found in a tee shirt and sandals than they are in a dress shirt. Note: Facebook ads can not include more than 20% text (by space) in the image. I am more interested in ideas for the images (I can add the text later). I am interested in photos, and also illustrations that reference the concepts mentioned.
